Background: Oregon Cherry Growers reached out to GPR Data to identify reinforcing near the top of an in-use aeration tank. In this case, “in-use” meant the tank was full of water and a boat would need to be used to access the upper portion of the wall.
GPR Data’s Solution: Accurately collecting data from a boat is challenge, fortunately this was not the first time GPR Data has faced this challenge. We collected multiple large grids and processed the data back at the office. While in the field we took precise measurements of the grid locations so a CAD file could be created showing the location and size of the reinforcing throughout the wall.
